WAGNER, ROBERT A. age 86, passed away at Kettering Medical Center on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Mary, his parents Anna and John, sister, Norma and a son-in-law, Jim Ross. Bob was a WWII Veteran and a proud member of the 82nd Airborne and served his country in Germany and France. He was the former VP of Farmers &Merchants Bank in Beavercreek and First National Bank of Fairborn. Bob was a member and former Quarter Master of the VFW Post 9929. He is survived by his sons: Tom Wagner of Florida and Doug Wagner of Dayton and a daughter, Darla Ross (John Hricovec), 3 grandchildren: Lisa (Luke) Warnock, Jay Ross and Greg Wagner and 2 great-grandsons: Elijah and Sam Warnock. Bob is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ken Inskep and sister-in-law, Shriely Inskep and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m., Friday, October 2nd at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, The Alzheimer's Association.
