Robert E. Winfield

Winfield, Robert E., “Bob”, age 80, of Centerville, passed away Tuesday November 3, 2015. He was born October 1, 1935 to Ralph & Ruth (Bussey) Winfield in Dayton. Bob was a veteran on the U.S. Army, and was retired from Machine Products Incorporated after 35 plus years of employment. He enjoyed many outside activities, including golf and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Virginia Smith, Marilyn Smith and Marie Chorazewitz. Mr. Winfield is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Phyllis (Ruef) Winfield; his daughter, Vicki Mott (Norb) of Centerville; his son, Randy Winfield (Judy) of Centerville; his stepchildren, James Rich (Terry) of Kettering, Shelley Bloomfield of Destin, Florida; his grandchildren, Jennifer Martin (Kevin), Brian Mott, Franklin Markley, Nolan Winfield & Mitchell Winfield; and his great-grandchildren, Jackson & Will Martin. There will be a funeral service Sunday at 4pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
