Gineitis, Roma M., age 70, of Springboro passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Heartland of Miamisburg after battling cancer for several years. Roma graduated from Julienne High School in 1963 and Marquette University in 1967. She worked as a devoted nurse for 40 years. Roma was a parishioner of St. Mary Parish in Franklin. She was the life of every party and loved her family and friends fiercely and generously. Roma spread so much joy. She didn’t know a stranger, making instant friends effortlessly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Romualdas and Jadvyga Gineitis and carried on her family’s rich Lithuanian traditions with pride. Roma is survived by her sisters Dana (Tom) Empric and Vida McQuiston, her six loving nieces and nephews Brian Empric, Jennifer (Geoff) Gordon, Maggie (Matt) Kase, Chris (Krystal) Empric, Amy (Paul) McDonald, Jessica (Brian) Hastings, her cherished great-nieces and nephews Madeleine, Hannah, Lea, Drew, Jack, Davis, Greta, Tucker, Molly, Roman, and many dear friends. Family will receive friends at Holy Angels Church in Dayton at 9:00 am on Monday, December 28th. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
