Ronald Thomas Clark, 74, of Beavercreek passed away unexpectedly at home on the evening of Saturday, November 14, 2015.

A native of Indiana, he was proud a resident of Dayton and Beavercreek for the past 66 years.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Loretta (Rash), his sons Brannen Clark (Ellen) and Evan Clark (Jen). He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Meghan, Ryan, Aiden and Gavin Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie & Pauline Clark.

Ron was a graduate of Stivers High School and attended Brigham Young University in Salt Lake City, Utah before attending The Ohio State University where he received his BS degree in Business Administration. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors/Delphi where he was in Production Management and Value Analysis for over 30 years. Ron was currently employed by the Beavercreek School system.

Ron served as president of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association (OGCA) from 1988 to 1989. He remained active with both the National Rifle Association and the OGCA in his effort to support the 2nd Amendment - “Right to Bear Arms.” He was also a member of Green County Fish & Game.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather as well as a friend to all who knew and loved him. He always had a smile and story to share and would always offer a helping hand to those in need.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19th from 4pm-8pm at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Services will be held on November 20th at 10am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3072 Shakertown Road, Beavercreek. Bishop Chad Hale will be officiating and Brent Huddleston will be sharing memories. Ron will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery immediately following the service.
