GLOWACKI, Ronald Edward of Centerville, OH , passed away peacefully on Wednesday Sept. 6 at Hospice of Dayton. He was 81. Ron was born to Edward and Margaret Glowacki in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he attended The Milwaukee School of Engineering. In 1962, he married Dorothy, and together they had 4 children. He had a rewarding career as an engineer, and was instrumental in the development of the Saturn V rocket program, and then later working on the Lunar Rover and Skylab initiatives. He moved to Dayton in the 1970's to work at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in the protection of our Country. He was an avid photographer and fisherman. He will be greatly missed. Ron is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, and four children; David Glowacki, Jennifer Perry (Glowacki), Vanessa Glowacki, and Carolyn Gudorf (Glowacki), his sister, Karen Schraufnagel (Glowacki) and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Doreen. A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton on Saturday, Sept.16th at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made in Ronald’s name to Ohio Hospice of Dayton in appreciation of the loving care they gave him.
