Hemmelgarn (Burgmeier), Rosemary , Age 87, of Centerville, passed away at Bethany Lutheran Village July 11, 2016.
Rosemary was born May 4, 1929 to Norman and Florence Burgmeier and was a 1947 graduate of Julienne High School. She had retired from WHIO where she worked as Public Service Director. She enjoyed working at the station and made many close friends during the years she worked there.
Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She loved attending performances at the Victoria Theatre, watching movies, boxing & UD basketball, having lunch with friends and on sunny summer days you would always find her at the pool.
Rosemary is survived by her children Pam (Hemmelgarn) Grilliot and her husband Wayne, Steve Hemmelgarn and his wife RuthAnn, sister Carol (Burgmeier) Parr, brothers William Burgmeier and his wife Jean and Norman Burgmeier and his wife Sarah, grandchildren Heather Reeve, Heidi Delisle, Holly Winkofsky, Michelle Conley, Melissa Grilliot and Marisa Salazar, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends, including her dear lifelong friend Claire Walter.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
Rosemary will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Womanline of Dayton or Hospice of Dayton. Condolences can be sent to the family at Westbrock Funeral Home.
