HORVATH, Rosemary age 92, of Dayton, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord on April 17, 2014. She was born June 30, 1921 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Christopher and Rose Mary (Crom) Kale. Also preceded in death were her 8 brothers and sisters, Lithia Kale, Baby Kale, Helen Spangenburg, Raymond Kale, Rose Regina Kale, Donald Kale, Joanne Ratterman and Paul Kale; also, daughter-in-law, Anita (Brown) Horvath. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Horvath; her children and their spouses, Marcia (Rick) Heben, John Horvath, Dennis (Jennifer) Horvath and Diane (Frank) Montalbano; 9 grandchildren, Melissa (Heben) Sheldrick, Christy (Heben) Sanders, Andy Heben, Kelly (Horvath) Christman, Amanda Morgan, Zachary Horvath, Natalie Horvath, Christopher Koogler and Courtney Hardy; and 9 great grandchildren, Alayna Sheldrick, Emma Sheldrick, Braden Sanders, Mallory Sanders, Matthew Dunham, Olivia Christman, Kalab Bauer and Kameron Bauer, and Emma Koogler. Rosemary was a long time member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she spent many hours over the years volunteering at both the church and school. She also enjoyed painting, sewing, cooking and playing cards. She will be truly missed by her beloved family and friends. Visitation will take place at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 between 4:00-7:00 p.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Church on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. and the burial will follow at the VA National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Vitas Hospice
