Woeste, Rosemary E., age 71 of Centerville passed away Wednesday November 7, 2018. Rosemary led a quiet, humble life. She graduated from UD with an education degree and taught religious education (“CCD”) for 15 years at Saint Charles Parish. Her main occupation was working concessions at the downtown Sears and keeping the department’s books. When the store closed, she babysat for children with special needs. She lived with her parents. After Mom died, her help allowed Dad to stay in his home for the rest of his life. When Dad also died, Rose moved to the Bernardin Center at St. Leonard’s, where the kindness of her new friends and neighbors allowed her to grow and thrive. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary. She is survived by four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Eileen (Tim) Mitchell, Maggie (Harold) Dick, Marian (William) Saluke, and Barbara Woeste; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joe (Patti) Woeste, John (Nancy) Woeste; numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday November 15 at the St. Leonard’s Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Thursday at the Chapel. Burial, Calvary Cemetery.
