Ruby Jane Brockman (Farley) passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at her residence resulting from complications following a hip fracture. A life-long resident of Dayton, Ohio but was born on August 15th, 1927 in Level Green Kentucky where her mother had gone home to give birth. She spent all her youthful summers in Kentucky and was proud of and loved the State of her birth. Attended Patterson Cooperative High School, class of 1945. In 1950 she married Charles Wm. Brockman and was married 35 years until his death in 1985. Ruby’s life always revolved around her children. She was involved in PTA and was always served as home-room mother for one of her children. Ruby is survived by children Sheila Pomeroy, Beth Brubaker (Nick), and Farley (Amanda), grandchildren; Kyle Pomeroy, Wade, and Ethan Brockman, and Carson Brubaker, sisters Dorothy Ann Vogt and Shirley Keefe (Larry) and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Charles, brother Jack (Julie) Farley.
A private interment will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle Ohio.
