Mc Intosh, Shirley A., age 80 of Dayton, Ohio lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 16, 2014. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Julia (Murphy) Stemley and her two brothers, Joseph Jr. and Donald. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Emmett and three daughters, Lynn (Dan) Graham, Julie (Mitch) Waterman, Laurie (Ken) Cableck; grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle and Joey Graham, Meghan and Makayla Waterman, and Timmy Cableck. Shirley graduated from the University of Dayton with a teaching degree and taught for many years. After raising her daughters she went back to work at McDonald’s Sales Center/Ardans, Sears HR, and most recently Victoria’s Secret Call Center. Shirley loved her grandchildren and was always their biggest supporter. In her spare time, she loved playing BINGO. It was known that family outings had to be scheduled around BINGO. We would like to thank her doctors and Hospice of Dayton, especially Angie, her care nurse. The family will receive friends Thursday August 21, 2014 from 4-7pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
