Sigmund W. Kizirnis PhD

Kizirnis, Sigmund W., PhD, age 71, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016. An aeronautical engineer, research physicist and patent-holder, Sigmund served many years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (civilian) and was a co-founder of the Accutek company. Preceded in death by his parents, Jazeps and Valia, he is survived by his wife Janet, his children Leslie (Rick) Willits, of Dayton; Jennifer (Ron) DeBrosse, of Baltimore; and Nick (Kathi) of Oakwood, and grandchildren Lily and Joey Kizirnis; Emily, Derek and Ethan Willits. Services will be held 6 p.m. Wed., Oct. 19, at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Reverend James Carter officiating. The family will receive friends 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
