DeWINE, SUE ANN, 74 of Kettering, OH passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at her home. She was born July 3, 1936 in Springfield, OH and grew up in Yellow Springs. She graduated from John Bryant High School in 1954 and received her BA Degree in History from the University of Dayton in 1959. She spent the majority of her career teaching 7th and 8th grade History and Government at West Carrollton Middle School. She loved to travel and spent many vacations visiting her sons and grandchildren and spending time at the beach. She was also very active at St. Charles Parish and enjoyed Bible study. Sue is survived by her son John Michael Wurts and his wife, Judy of Andover, MA, and Daniel Mark Wurts and his wife, Dawn of Washington, NJ, a brother, Gary DeWine and his wife, Carol of Euclid, OH. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 1 niece and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, David and her parents, Belle and Frank in whom she will be buried next to. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, August 18th from 4:00-7:00 p.m at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 19th at St. Paul Catholic Church in Yellow Springs. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Paul Cemetery.
