MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 12:00 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2014.


Sue Petty, age 59, of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 31, 2014. Sue was the daughter of the late Landis and Elvera Gephart. A graduate of Archbishop Alter High School, Sue earned her BS from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Dayton. She also earned her STNA in 2013. She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Petty, two sons, Clay and Joe Petty, and her four sisters, Mary Broerman (Deane Hussong), Martha Gephart, Cathy St. Pierre (Keith), Carol Dworkin (Steve) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sue will most be remembered as a loving wife, mom, sister, aunt and educator who devoted her life to Christian service for others.

Mass of Christian Burial is at 12 NOON Wednesday, February 5 at Emmanuel Catholic Church in Dayton, with burial following at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-6 pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. In lieu of flowers, a Mass may be offered in Sue’s name or a contribution may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society ( http://stvincentdayton.org/ ).
