Suzanne Helmig

HELMIG, SUZANNE M., wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2012. She was born on December 22, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 54 years Gerald Helmig, her mother, Dorothy Kelly, father, Malcolm Kelly, sister Marilyn Austin and her grandson-in-law Gustavo Rios. She is survived by her devoted children, Mary Helmig, Dennis (Beth) Helmig, Kathy Mullane, Michael (Anne) Helmig, Nancy (Mike) McCarthy, Patti Carnahan, Janet (Chris) Kiley, Diane Salisbury and grandchildren, Justin (Holly) Helmig, Sara Helmig, Michael (Stacy) Mullane, Megan (Marc) Sage, Kelly Mullane, Patrick McCarthy, Daniel McCarthy, Zachary, Sean and Christopher Kiley, Kimberly (Aaron) Voland, Tiffani Rios, Eddie Salisbury, and great grandchildren Tricia and Collin McCarthy, Ashton and Zoey Helmig, Michael and Mason Sage, Taylor Voland, and Isabella and Elizabeth Rios. Sue did generous volunteer work with Womanline for over 25 years and for Holy Angels Church, Dayton, OH. Visitation will be on Thursday, at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Dayton, Ohio from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Angels Church 1322 Brown St., Dayton, OH at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10th
