GRILLOT, Sylvia M. (nee Voisard), age 96 of Dayton passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. She was born on April 3, 1920 in Russia, Ohio to the late, Henry and Josephine (Monnin) Voisard. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Roger Grillot; siblings, Louise (Clarence) Saul, Margaret (Henry) Pour, Priscilla (Dick) Bauman, Monetta (Dale) Glotfelter, Venetious (Magdalene) Voisard, Hubert Voisard and favorite son-in-law, Jerry Connell. Sylvia is survived by her children, Sandra Connell of Dayton, Roger (Karen) Grillot of Amelia, Jim (Sara) Grillot of Kettering, Dennis Grillot of Long Beach, MS, Mark Grillot of Englewood; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews. She enjoyed many years in sales with Rike’s and was a member of Naim Widow and Widowers Group. Sylvia loved playing King’s in the Corner and euchre with family, friends, neighbors and especially her sisters. She was extremely loving and giving to her family and she adored each and every one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place for their kindness, love, care, support and making Sylvia feel like this was her home. Also thank you to the “300 Club” for their friendship, support and love during her stay there. Thank you to Hospice for their loving care and support during this difficult time. Friends and family may visit from 9am-10:30 am on Monday, August 29 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 am on Monday, August 29 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment following in Calvary Cemetery.
