Teresa Ann Lonsbury

Age 60, of Centerville, passed away suddenly in her home on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her Uncle Donald Coover, She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Robert Lonsbury of Centerville, their two sons, Kyle Lonsbury and wife, Judy (Brown) Lonsbury of Centerville, and Jared Lonsbury, of Cincinnati; her mother and father, Bobby Joe and Shirley (Coover) Cox, of Centerville; her brother, William and wife, Mary Cox of Huber Heights, her beloved friend & Aunt Pam Horn and husband, Rick Horn, of Riverside, her Uncle Gary Cox, of Miamisburg, Uncle Richard and Janet Coover, Uncle Gary and Sheila Coover, of Huber Heights; and many loved nieces and nephews. Teresa was a graduate of Centerville High School, Class of 1976, Bowling Green State University for Undergraduate, and master’s degree from University of Dayton. She returned to Centerville High School as a U.S. Government teacher and later as a Guidance Counselor for 35+ years; achieving various academic accolades, education awards, for herself and her many beloved students. As well as, serving as a Co-Chair for the Montgomery County Republican Party. She loved to spend time with her children and their dogs’, Maximus and Cali, and read crime novels while by the pool or on the beach in Florida. Friends and family may visit from 11:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd., Kettering followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Teresa will be laid to rest in a private service at the convenience of the family.
