BON, Theodore J. “TED”, age 79 of Miami Township passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018. He was born in Flint, MI on April 8, 1938 to the late, Helen Bon. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy (DeMange) Bon; children, Tim (Stacey) Bon, Terry Bon; grandchildren, Georgie and Margot and many other extended family and friends. Ted was a graduate of Parks College of Saint Louis University and worked at WPAFB for 36 years as an Aeronautical Engineer. He was a proud member of the Kettering Banjo Society for over 20 years, where he not only played the banjo, but was known as the group's expert “whistler.” Ted was also a 3rd and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a volunteer usher and lector at St. Henry Catholic Church. His friends and family may visit from 3:00pm-6:00pm on Sunday, April 8 at The Westbrock Funeral Home on Bigger Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Monday, April 9 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 Springboro Pike, Dayton. He will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Sisters of St. Francis of Oldenburg, IN.
