Theodore Borgert

Borgert, Theodore E., age 80, passed away, Saturday, April 18, 2009. A man well respected and loved for his honesty and integrity. Theodore is preceded in death by his sisters: Regina, Rita and Rosemary and a brother, Val. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Borgert (Albrecht), children: Theodore II (Jennifer) Borgert, Timothy Borgert, Cindy (Dave) Wolford, Lisa (John) Barnes, Tom (Lynn) Borgert and Sue (Dan) Sacksteder and 20 grandchildren. Theodore is also survived by a brother, Cy (Dottie) Borgert and brother-in-law, Harry Albrecht. Theodore graduated in the Class of 1947 at Chaminade High School, graduated from the University of Dayton in 1952, was a devout member of St. Anthony Church for over 45 years, read for Words for 8 years and was on the Board of Directors at Calvary Cemetery for over 27 years. His 2 proudest accomplishments were marrying his wife, Nancy of 54 years and earning his Navy Wings. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 21st from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue, Dayton 45410. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 22nd at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 820 Bowen Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or St. Anthony Parish.
