Theodore H. Barlow "Ted" died Friday, February 10, 2012 at St. Leonard Assisted Care Facility. He was 96 years young. Ted was preceded in death
by his wife of 54 years Cicily Griffin Barlow, parents Theodore H. and Molly Rooney Barlow, his only brother, James R. He is survived by his children: Michael (Katherine), Cicily Brogan (Bill), James (Sally), Maureen Neff (Don) and Kevin (Cathleen). Grandchildren: Timothy (Cassie), John (Ann), Michael (Klara), Matthew (Sarah) Barlow; Peg Jula (Pete); Bill (Cindy) and John (Stacey) Brogan; Molly Shapiro (Michael); Kelli, Christopher and Danny Neff; Daniel (Kathy) and Stephen Rudmann; Great- grandchildren; Emma, Jacob, Katherine, Thomas, Paul, Mira, Molly and Sam Barlow; Austin, Aidan, Griffin and Lauren Brogan; Jake and Audrey Shapiro; Austin and Katelin Neff; Keegan, Connor, Anna and Leah Rudmann; Ted was a life long resident of Dayton graduating from Stivers High School in 1934 and attended the University of Dayton. Ted served in the U.S Navy during WW II. He retired from W.H. Keifaber, Co. and continued to work part-time at Miami Hardware and then Greive Hardware until age eighty-nine. He lived in the St. Leonard Community for the past 19 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 500. Ted was a loving and faithful son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family was most important to him and he loved spending time with all of his family. He enjoyed all kinds of sporting events especially attending the UD Flyer Basketball games. He will be missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to the St. Leonard Assisted Care Staff and the Hospice of Dayton Staff. Memorial Mass to celebrate Ted's life Saturday March 10, 2012 at the St. Leonard Chapel 8100 Clyo Rd. Centerville, Ohio. Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM followed by the Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ted's memory to the St. Leonard Foundation, designate Benevolent Care, 8100 Clyo Rd., Centerville, Ohio 45458 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420
