ANTONELLI Jr., Thomas E., “Tom”, age 88 of Centerville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Bethany Lutheran Village. He was born on November 7, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late, Thomas and Mary (Adavasio) Antonelli Sr. Also preceding him in death is his first wife, Barbara; brothers, Louis, Edward, Mark and brother-in-law, Rocco Benedetto. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kathryn Antonelli; children, Angela Marie (Rick) Fozard, Tom (Christy) Antonelli; grandchildren, Erin (Chris), Lauren, Cody; great-grandson, Keaton; sister, Rose Benedetto; brother, Paul Antonelli; sister-in-law, Nancy Antonelli and various nieces and nephews. He served in the US Army for 2 years. Tom received his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University and his Master’s degree from Kent State University. He helped develop the City of Dayton’s Crime Lab where he worked for 10 years then went to work at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as Chief of the Advanced Research Division, Foreign Technology Division (NAIC) from February 1972 through November 1990 until his retirement. Tom was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his many co-workers on a couple of leagues. The family would like to thank all of the staff and caregivers at Bethany Lutheran Village and Kettering Hospital for their wonderful care and support during this difficult time. Friends and family may visit from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, April 13 at The Westbrock Funeral Home; 5980 Bigger Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 14 at Church of the Incarnation, Centerville. Tom will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
