Thomas Harper

HARPER, THOMAS L., age 53, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Peggy Harper and his mother-in-law, Frances Berger. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Suzanne Harper, daughter, Lindsey Harper and son, Michael Harper, sisters: Kathy (David) Holcomb and Eileen (Tom) Mace and brothers: Mack (Mitzi) Harper and Jeff Harper. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Denis Berger and brother-in-laws: Denis (Sharon) Berger, Michael (Susan) Berger and Mark (Annamarie) Berger and numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas was a retired major from the United States Air Force and worked as a civilian at Wright Patt Air Force Base, he worked as a videographer as a side business, loved listening to amateur radio and was a member of Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 26th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 27th at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes's Association or Elizabeth New Life Center, 359 Forrest Ave, Dayton, OH 45405.
