PETERSON, Thomas G. passed away August 15, 2018 at the age of 85. He was born December 7, 1932 to the late, William and Mary Louise Peterson. He is the last of his immediate family of seven. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Judith, son, Thomas (Christine) Peterson II of Centerville, Ohio, Lynne (Ray) Flint of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Paul (Martha) Peterson of St. Joseph, Michigan. He is also survived by grandchildren who loved him dearly, Jacob, Elizabeth, and Gabrielle Flint, Samuel and William Peterson; step-grandchildren, Staci (Michael) Taylor and Eric (Ashley) McCoy; great grandchildren, Liam and Lexi Taylor. Tom graduated from Ft Loramie High School. He started working on his cousin’s farm at the age of eleven. He served in the Army during the Korean War, learning his profession as a photographer. He worked for NCR for over 40 years, a job he loved, and took him around the world. He also photographed over 1,800 weddings in the area. He enjoyed almost 30 years of retirement, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family. His body has been donated to the Wright State University School of Medicine for research, so that even in death he could help others. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 23 at St. Albert the Great. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Albert the Great or Dayton VA Medical Center Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Westbrock Funeral Home, Kettering.
