Thomas C. "Doc" Waitzman

WAITZMAN, Dr. Thomas C., “Doc”, age 68 of Kettering passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016. He was born on November 26, 1948 in Dayton to the late, Charles and Bertha (Trimbach) Waitzman. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Karen (Englert) Waitzman; children, John (Tosha) Waitzman, Jennifer (Tim) Price, Megan (Ward) Lawson; grandchildren Sidney Price, Logan & Olivia Waitzman. Doc was a General Practitioner in Dayton, Ohio for over 30 years. He practiced medicine at Grandview and Miami Valley Hospital. He was also a Volunteer Fireman for the city of Kettering for over 25 years. Doc was a Hamm Radio Operator and passed many messages for the families in the Navy MARS Program. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Friday, January 6 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The family will greet guests from 9:30 am until the start of mass. Doc will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please give to the St. Charles Faith and Light Program. This organization creates activities for adults with special needs.
