Thomas Eugene Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN, Thomas 'Tom' Eugene, age 88, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday,
June 8, 2016. Tom was born on January 9, 1928 in Dayton to the late Carl and
Villanova Zimmerman. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert,
Wilbur, John, Richard, and Larry, and sister Rita Carnal. He is survived by
his wife of 65 years Rita (Brandewie); children Pat (John) Crotty, Connie
Leiser, Terry Luedeke, Gary (Denise), John (Tina), Robert (Susan), and
Becky; brothers, Norbert, Gerald, and Donald; sisters, Martha Klosterman,
Mary Lou Heitkamp, Agnes O'Donnel, Dottie (Larry) Spatz, and Carol
Zimmerman; 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Tom was a 1947
graduate of Chaminade High School and graduate of University of Dayton.
Tom was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo, and a member of the U.D.
Flyers Club. Tom was an entrepreneur first in the construction business
then later on in the bar business. Tom enjoyed spending time with family
and friends, dancing the jitterbug, attending U.D. sporting events
especially football tailgates and games, and relaxing at lakes.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at
Westbrock Funeral Home 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering Ohio 45440. There will
be Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m Thursday June 16, 2016 at St.
Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, Ohio
45429.

University of Dayton Flyers Club or Hospice of Dayton.
