Vera Van Schaik

VAN SCHAIK, Vera G., age 89, passed away, Wednesday, November 12, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Van Schaik and daughter and son-in-law Celia (Robert) Runyon. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Van Schaik and Marcia (Eric) Brown and son, Chris (Karen) Van Schaik, 7 grandchildren: Patrick (Angie) Van Schaik, Timothy Runyon, Neil (Krista) Kingery, David (Trisha) Runyon, Tony Kerby, Zachary Kerby and Cory Brown and 7 great-grandchildren. Vera worked as a switchboard operator for Montgomery County for many years. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 16th from 2-4 P.M. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue, Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 17th at Our Lady of Rosary Church, Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
