Vincent Cashman

Cashman, Vincent J., age 86, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012. Born and raised in Dayton, Vincent was a graduate of Chaminade High School, the University of Dayton, and earned his Master's degree from Xavier University in 1948. A well-remembered and admired world history teacher at the high school and college level, Vince was preceded in death by his parents, Denis F. and Agnes [Agnew] Cashman. Vincent is survived by his two sisters, Mary Katherine Keyes of Dayton, OH; and, Agnes Patricia Locke of Mt. Pleasant, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, December 14th from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 NOON at St. Albert the Great Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave, Kettering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
