Evers, Virginia Delia (Lee), “Ginger” age 71 of Dayton, OH, beloved wife for 49 years of Kenneth Evers, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Ginger was born June 16, 1946 in Chicago, IL, to the late Edward and Florence Lucette Lee.
She was the loving mother of Cynthia (Jamie) Todd and was the adored grandmother of Jackson, Abigail, Kevin, Aiden, and Gabrielle. She was the dear sister of the late John (Carol) Lee, Maureen (Thomas) Smith, and Edward Lee, Jr.
Ginger received a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Dayton and Master’s in Education from Wright State University. She taught at St. Anthony Catholic School in Dayton for 40 years and was a devoted member of the parish.
She dedicated herself entirely to the happiness and well-being of her family and her church. She delighted in the companionship of many friends and will be remembered lovingly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 3, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home, Wayne Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Anthony School Trilobite Science Fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
