Virginia L. "Ginny" Santoianni

Santoianni, Virginia L. (nee Gilbert), age 93, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away on Friday December 22, 2017. She was born on July 3, 1924 in Ridgefield, CT. to the late Leroy and Louise Gilbert. Also preceding her in death were her husband of 66 years, Arthur; her brothers, and daughter-in-law, Susan Santoianni. Ginny is survived by her sons, Arthur (Patty), Thomas; grandchildren, Arthur Jr, Justin (Diana), Nathan (Lauren), Gina (Andy), Dani; great-grandchildren, Casey, Giovanna, Maribella, Jackson and Giuliana, and many other extended family and friends, including her best late-in-life friend, Barb. The family would like to thank St. Leonard’s staff for their care and friendship. Friends and family may visit from 12-1pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00pm with Fr. Gerald Haemmerle officiating. Ginny will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Ginny’s memory.
