Virginia Mccarthy

McCarthy, Virginia M. "Ginny", age 92, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Brookhaven Nursing Center, Brookville, OH. Virginia was born August 26, 1916 to her parents Elsie and Frank Wise, who precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband John M. McCarthy Sr. and sisters, Mary Louise Wise and Charlene Miller. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Sharon (John) Wilson and son, John "Jack" Jr. (Charlotte) McCarthy; her grandchildren: John Jr. (Mary) Wilson, Thomas (Kelli) Wilson, and Robert (Penny) Wilson, Kimberly (Edwin) Keck, Brian (Tamara) Wilson, Michael (Shelly) McCarthy, Lisa McCarthy, Daniel (Patricia) McCarthy, Deborah (Mark) Nickoson, Terri (John) Padgett, Wendy (Jim) Shepherd and Kevin Mote and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Bernice Paluzzi and numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia retired from Elder Beerman after many years of service. Visitation will be held, Tuesday, October 21st from 11:30-12:30 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton, 45410 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m., at Holy Angels Church, Dayton. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Brookhaven for their support and loving care of our Mother and Grandmother.
