Beerman, Wallace H.,“Wally”, age 86, born October 16, 1927 in Cleveland, OH., passed away July 18, 2014. Wally moved to Dayton, OH. in the late 1950’s where he owned and operated Wally’s Shell Station on the corner of Far Hills Ave & Whipp Road for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his sister-in-law. He was also preceded in death by his extended family members, Ed, Betty and Kathy Durig. He is survived by Ted Durig and his three children, Jason, Kasey and Mikey Durig. In 1972, Wally along with Ted Durig, purchased Sandy’s Towing where he worked until the last month of his life. Wally loved the outdoors and especially big-game hunting. He went on numerous hunting trips including six to Africa. Wally will be missed by the numerous friends he has spread around the country. There will be a Memorial Service for Wally at a future date.
