MOORMAN, Wallace F. age 91, of St. Henry, passed away peacefully Friday, January 31, 2014 at his home. He was born January 13, 1923 in Cleveland, to the late Ivo & Pauline (Kothman) Moorman. He was married to Rosella 'Toots' (Kaiser) Hierholzer-Moorman, who survives in St. Henry. His first wife Mary June (Brumfield) Moorman preceded him in death in 2002. He is also survived by seven children, Gregory E. Moorman & Regina Parramore of Vandalia, Douglas E. Moorman of Kettering, Gary J. & Cathy Moorman of Mason, David L. & Millie Moorman of Centerville, Joseph A. & Diana Moorman of Kettering, Jennifer & Jim Clark of Dayton, and Patrick J. Moorman of Dayton, step-children, Joan & Mark Kunk of Versailles, Julius Hierholzer of North Star, Jody & Dan Lange of St. Henry, June & Dale Leistenschneider of St. Henry, a step-son-in-law, Matt & Dee Schwieterman of Piqua, Wally & Toots have numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a sister Alice Whitacre of Springfield, a brother Jake Moorman of Springfield, and in-laws, Marcella Hemmelgarn of Celina and Herbert & Rosemary Kaiser of Coldwater. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony R. Moorman, a daughter- in-law, Lisa Moorman, three brothers, Paul Moorman, James Moorman, and Robert Moorman, a step-daughter, Joyce Schwieterman, a step-son, Jeffery Hierholzer, and step-daughter-in-law, Betty Hierholzer. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville and St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, worked at National Cash Register for 37 years and also worked for Dayton Church Supply. He was an avid bowler and card player, enjoyed doing puzzles and his family was very important to him. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton, with Fr. Chris Coleman, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. Friends may call on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry and on Monday from 4 to 8 pm at Westbrock Funeral Home on Wayne Ave, Dayton
