KLOSTERMAN, Walter Eugene age 83 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday October 24, 2012 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lois Schilling Klosterman; parents, Gregor and Rose Klosterman and siblings, Evelyn, Thelma, Paul, Ronald, Victor and Louis. Gene is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Debra Millat and Cindy (Harold) Varvel; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Sarah, Joshua, Holly, Courtney; great grand-daughter, Olive. He is also survived by brothers, Greg (Nelda) and Howard; sisters-in-law, Martha, Joyce and many nieces and nephews. Gene was born June 10, 1929 in Dayton, OH. He was a graduate of Chaminade High School, University of Dayton and Ohio Northern College of Pharmacy. He was a Pharmacist at Rusty's Pharmacy in East Dayton for many years and retired from Harrison Radiator. Gene was a charter member of the Church of St. Charles Borromeo. His greatest joy in life was his daughters and grandchildren. He loved spending time with family and friends at Indian Lake. Gene was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, OH 11:00 AM Saturday October 27. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the church. Interment to follow at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, envelopes available at the church
