Wessley Karl Hall Sr.

Hall, Wessley Karl Sr., age 88 , of Dayton OH, passed away March 28, 2023. He was born on December 23, 1934 in Covington, KY to the late Frank and Freda (Mallory) Hall. He served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1963(Active/Reserve). Upon discharge he became a Civil Servant working with the Air Force as a Computer Programmer. He eventually became a Logistics Management Specialist supporting the A-10 aircraft. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 26 years. He then worked an additional 10 years at the University of Dayton in Public Safety in order to provide a quality college degree at a reduced cost in tuition for his children. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus council 3724. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Sons Aaron and Randall Hall, Brothers Frank and James (Dink) Hall, Son-in-law Jeff Ogle, and Grandson LaMar Curry. He is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Kathy (Voelkl), Sons Anthony (Annie) of Florence, KY, Wessley Jr, (Wonda) of Grand Prairie, TX, Geoffrey of Ohio, Raymmond of Washington, D.C. , Daughters Kaneesha Ogle of West Chester, OH, and Mallory of Dayton, OH, Daughter-in-law Tammy Vaughn Hall of Dayton, OH, Grandchildren Randall Vaughn (Minako) in the United States Air Force, Tiffany Trent of Dayton, OH, Anthony Hall Jr, of Louisville, KY, Lucas Ogle, Kalynn Ogle, Alexis Ogle of West Chester, OH, Quincey Moore Jr.(Lacy) of Grand Prairie,TX, Lance Moore of Greeley, CO, LaBaron Moore of Fort Worth, TX, and 12 Great Grandchildren. We would also like to make mention of Matthew Monie who we have always loved and considered our “son”. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 5th at 11:00AM at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 830 Bowen St. Dayton, OH 45410. Visitation will also be held prior to the service on April 5th from 9:30-10:30AM at Westbrock Funeral Home 1712 Wayne Ave. Dayton, OH. Wessley will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio, 7625 Camargo Road Cincinnati, OH 45243 or Saint Anthony Church 830 Bowen St. Dayton, Ohio 45410.
