Willa Jeanne Traucht

TRAUCHT, Willa J., age 79 of Centerville passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa to the late, William L. and Elma J. (Naiden) Coburn. Also preceding her in death is her husband, George Traucht. Willa is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Katrina and Dean Marcucci and her partner, Richard Ernst. She graduated from Long Beach City College and Los Cerritos College in California with her bachelor’s degree. She worked as coordinator in the dental Education department at Vatterott College. She enjoyed antiques, crocheting and most of all she was a tremendous animal lover. Friends and family may visit from 4-6 pm on Sunday, July 31 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 4865 Wilmington Pike, Kettering. Funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Monday, also at the church with Rev. Mark Carlson officiating. Willa’s final resting place will be in the Dayton National Cemetery at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or SICSA, in memory of Willa. Arrangements entrusted to Westbrock Funeral Home, Kettering.
