FLOHRE, WILLIAM A., 80, July 8, 2011. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph. Survived by his loving wife, Marguarite, children: Michael J., Marcia E. (Ronald) Cole & Mitchell S., daughter-in-law, Terri Ellis, grandson, Shawn, great-grandchildren: Kaci & Brandon, mother, Gertrude, siblings: Elvira “Babe” Melke, John “Jack”, Sir Robert & Edward, numerous nieces, nephews & friends. William was a member of the American Legion Beavercreek & devout parishioner of St. Helen Church. Retired from Miami Valley Publishing Co. after 30 years, enjoyed his part time job with Dayton Auto Auction, full time love of gardening, composting & recycling. Visitation, Mon., July 11, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Prayer Service at Westbrock, Tue., 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd; procession to Calvary Cemetery.
