Stevens, William “Red” was born May 15, 1930 and passed May 25, 2018. Born in Olive Hill, KY., he was the son of Benjamin and Anna Kaiser Stevens and had eight siblings; brothers, Clifton, Clifford, Virgil, and Benny; sisters, Lola Sparks, Grace Dean, Mattie Rogers, and Fonda Bond and loving daughter, Connie McGrew, all of which preceded him in death. Survived by his wife of 71 years, Martha P. Stevens; son, Gary of Beavercreek and daughter, Sherry of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Shane Stevens, Carla Stevens, Gerald Lyon, Korri McGrew, and Dillon Sheehan; five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. William was a member of Beaver United Church of Christ and Moose Lodge 73. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 30 from 5:00-8:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00-11:00 am at the Beaver United Church of Christ. Services will be held Thursday, 11:00 am at the church. Burial to follow at Valley View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Miami Valley Hospice or the Beaver United Church of Christ, envelopes will be available at the Church.
